The Canadian Energy Museum is fortunate to welcome a new display donated by Darryl and Rodney Webb. The display is a matchstick replica of a 1950s drilling rig, carefully constructed by Earl Webb from 1959 to 1961. Consisting of over 100,000 matchsticks, the model layout comprises several outbuildings: the Camp Shack, the Substructure, and the Main Rig Tower. Each individual building has a completed interior, replicating the exact design of its original structure in the 50s.
